Sam's First Projects

So what I did was make the face and bow tie using basic shapes.  Then I used the bezier tool to make one piece of the afro.  After I copy and pasted, then I used to blend tool to make all the colors blend together.

The bottom picture is the original card, which I brought to school and scanned into the computer.  After, I used the bezier tool to trace the parts I wanted.  What I learned was it was necessary to have a lot of layers so that I could go back later and color it all in properly.
